Amanda Lee Fannin, 80, of Ashland, KY, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017, at home.
She was born July 31, 1937, in Elliott County, the daughter of the late Ransom and Sally Williams Fraley.
She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Herman Barker and Delbert Fannin; brothers and sisters, Burnice Bowman, Avery, Clayton and Delbert Fraley.
She taught at James Stephens one room school. She enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her children, Herman Joseph and wife Anna Barker of Ashland, KY, Bernice and husband Don Claxon of Ashland, KY; a brother, Jesse Fraley of Ohio; two grandchildren, Cortney Barker and Susanne Brandenburg and Silas Barker; two great-grandchildren, Layne Shipkosky and Lilliam Brandenburg; as well as several stepgrandchildren; three stepsons, Larry Fannin of Louisville, Dwight and Jack Fannin of Fairborn, OH; two stepdaughters, Verna Diene Wetherell of California and Joyce Fannin of Florida.
Funeral will be conducted Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, KY. Burial in Elliott County Memory Gardens.
