Amos Davidson, 92, of Tavares, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017.
Amos was born May 2, 1925, in Perry County, to the late Marvin Scott and Anna Williams Davidson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Davidson; a son, Kerry Lynn Davidson; four brothers, Walter Davidson, Tom Davidson, Don Davidson and Scott Davidson; and a sister, Beatrice Davidson.
He retired as a tool and die maker from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio.
He is survived by three sons, Marvin Scott (Suzanna) Davidson of Louisville, Lonnie Davidson of Vandalia, Ohio and Steven (Linda) Davidson of Astor, Fla.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Young Funeral Home Chapel in Louisa. Burial will be in See Cemetery in Louisa.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at the funeral home.
