Anna Jean Durbin Wiseman, 86, of Fayette County, formerly of Ashland, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, in Lexington.
Anna was born April 14, 1931, in Estill County, a daughter of the late Buford and Jeanette Rice Durbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Earl Wiseman in 1974.
Anna was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Ashland, a piano teacher, librarian for Ashland Oil Law Library and a homemaker.
Anna is survived by her children and their spouses, Pamela and Brad Stephenson of Florida, Patricia and Don Keaton of Nicholasville, Sharon and Lynden Howard Georgetown and David and Jackie Wiseman of Lexington; eight grandchildren, Laura Pierceson, Faith Denigan, Anna Cecil, Samuel Stephenson, Amanda Keaton, John Oney, Rachel L. Oney and Sarah Wiseman; seven great-grandchildren, Hunter Pierceson, Heath Pierceson, Sloan Pierceson, Kate Denigan, Wesley Denigan, Hannah Elizabeth Denigan and Isabela Nibur; two sisters, Bernice Smith of Lexington and Wilma and Ivan Wood of Mason, Ohio.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland with Pastor Brad Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
