Arlin Hall, 90, of Greenup, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born Nov. 10, 1926, in Greenup, a son of the late Creed and Anna Boyles Hall.
In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene White Hall, who passed away Jan. 9, 1993; one daughter, Phyllis Ann Stephens; two sons, Arlin Hall Jr. and Jerry Lee Hall; one sister, Opal Sweeney; and three brothers, Penny Hall, Delbert Hall and Harold Hall.
Arlin was a Korean War Veteran and retired as a Carman and Electrician from CSX Railroad. He loved horses. He loved listening and playing Bluegrass music and played in nursing homes in the area.
He is survived by two sons, Creed (Luanne Lyons) Hall of South Shore and Dwayne (Connie) Hall of Greenup; one daughter, Kathy Hale of Greenup; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Rev. Kenneth Martin officiating. Burial will be in Brickunion Cemetery in Greenup with military rites by James Dickey American Legion Post 23.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
