Burgess Dean Webb, 75, of Rush, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center, his loving wife, daughters, and grandchildren at his side.
Mr. Webb was born June 11, 1942, in Paintsville, to the late Lenzie and Addie Frazier Webb.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Lee Vanhoose.
Burgess was a graduate of Oil Springs High School and retired from Ashland Oil after 40 years as a crane operator. He was a Christian man who enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, guitar and loving his loving wife.
Burgess is survived by his adoring wife of 57 years, Carol Burchett Webb; their daughters, Tonya Hunter and husband Greg of Ashland and Tammy Runyon and husband Mark of Cincinnati, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Austin Hunter, Katie (Lee) Hanners, Courtney Runyon and Allyson Runyon.
Burgess, with his loving wife Carol, lived the greatest love story. They inspired their children and grandchildren with their love for each other and their love of God.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at Neal Funeral Home at 2409 Center Street in Catlettsburg with Pastor David Boggs officiating. Final resting place will be in Bowling Cemetery on Tarpin Ridge.
Visitors may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at the funeral home.
