Chandler Brickey, 81, of Sandy Hook, passed peacefully into the Kingdom of Heaven Thursday, April 6, 2017, in Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, surrounded by the family that loved him so much.
Chandler was born March 22, 1936, in Culver, to L.H. Brickey and Lillie Laney Brickey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Bill, Ballard, Crate and Roy; and a sister, Ivalene.
He is survived by a brother, Estil; a sister, Sena; six special nephews and nieces, Anthony, Wayne, Jackie, Charlene, Anita and Holly; and other nephews and nieces.
Chandler "Uncle Jeff" will be sorely missed by his family.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017, at at Wallow Hole Church with Brother Gary Sparks and Brother Bill T. Rice officiating. Burial will be in Brickey Family Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the church.
