Mable Kitchen, 83, of Grayson, passed away, Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, in Kingsbrook Lifecare Center.
She was born Nov. 5, 1933, in Kitts Hill, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ira Edward and Ruth Marie Short Clonch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Kitchen; a brother, Bill Clonch; and a sister, Lillian McAfee.
Mable was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a seamstress and member of First Baptist Church of Grayson.
She is survived by a son, Jonathan (Elise) Kitchen of Lawrenceburg; a daughter, Lucinda "Cindi" (Harold) Gaunce of Lexington; a brother, Samuel Clonch of Pittsburgh, Penn.; two sisters, Edith Sparks and Helen Fleming both of Ironton, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Anna Nicole Kitchen of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson with George Steele officiating. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, and after noon Monday at the funeral home.
