Clyde Kimble Berkley, 88, of Greenup, KY, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 13, 2018, in Trinity Station in Flatwoods, KY.
Clyde was born January 30, 1930, in Greenup, KY, a son of the late Clarence Leslie and Eliza Jenkins Berkley.
He was retired from C&O Railroad. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and loved camping and fishing with his late wife Patty who was the "best catch of his life".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ruth Berkley; one grandson, Billy Howard; three brothers, James Berkley, Ralph Berkley and William Berkley; four sisters, Ina Berkley, Dorothy Moore, Mary Anderson and Majorie McCausland.
He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Carol Berkley of Greenup, KY, Donna J. Howard of Greenup, KY, and Connie Marie (Brent) Althaus of Dayton, OH; six grandchildren, Lisa Michelle Miller, Jerry Todd Howard, Christian Michael Miller, Clyde Douglas Gray, David Jason (Chanel) Gray and Adam Joseph (Alexis) Sprauer; 14 great-grandchildren, Nessa (Nester) Pacheco Bravo, Isaac Howard, Miaa Howard, Hayley Gray, McKenzie Gray, Angela Gray, Adrianna Gray, Courtney Gray, Taylor Gray, Curtis Vaughn, Kayti Vaughn, Allie Vaughn, Christina Miller and Christian Miller; four great-great-grandchildren, Raelyn Large, Astrid Vaughn, Newo Vaughn and Willow Carver; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, KY, by Chaplin Randy Tate. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, OH.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Berkley family would like to thank the staff at Trinity Station and Community Hospice for all their kindness and care for Clyde.
