Cora's Story

Cora E. "Edna" Baldwin Blevins, 81, formerly of Millbury, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 18, 2017, in Genoa Care Center, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's with her family by her side.
Edna was born July 4, 1935, in Ashland, to William and Myrtle Hall Baldwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lowell E. Blevins in 2003.
She married Lowell June 13, 1953, in Ashland. She retired in 1988 after 18 years of service as a factory worker at the Dial Company. She was a member of Webbville Homemakers Club in Webbville and volunteered for fundraisers with the Webbville Fire Department. Edna loved Christmas and enjoyed painting many Santa folk art pieces. In addition to Christmas, her greatest love was her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tina (Albert) Preston, Jill (Thomas) Glander and Sonny (Naomi) Blevins; three grandsons, Al (Alyssa) Preston, Bob (Beatrice) Preston and Jeremiah Glander; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Fry; and a special niece and nephew, Jerry (Janita) Groce and Judy Ann Giles.
Witzler-Shank Funeral Home in Walbridge, Ohio are in charge of arrangements.
