David Scott Gollihue, 29, of Willard, went to be with his Lord Sunday, July 16, 2017, in UK Medical Center in Lexington following a long illness.
Scotty was born Aug. 6, 1987, in Ashland, a son of Leonard Gollihue and Natalie Cameron Gollihue of Willard.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Franklin Gollihue II; paternal grandfather, Beecher Gollihue; maternal grandmother, Betty Coleman Cameron.
Scotty recently accepted the Lord as his personal savior and was a member of the Johns Run Tabernacle. Scotty was an avid UK Basketball fan.
His survivors including his parents are one sister, Miranda (Robert) Mullins of Grayson; paternal grandmother, Loraine Yates Gollihue of Willard; two nieces, Aubrey and Carley Mullins; one nephew, Jayden Mullins; and many family and friends who will miss him.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Malone Funeral Home with Delmar Rogers, Eric Clere and Bill McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Gollihue Family Cemetery in Willard.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
