Ebert's Story

Ebert P. Harris, 72, of Argillite, went to be with the lord Thursday, May 4, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Mr. Harris was born May 18, 1944, in Beaver Dam, Va., a son of the late Leon Harris and Mary Anna Strong.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Harris.
Mr. Harris is survived by his loving wife, Pam Moore Harris; four sisters, Maudie Hackworth of Ashland, Mary (Bill) Thompson of Kitts Hill, Ohio, Gracie (Wendell) Meadows of Greenup and Martha (Jimmy) Bowling of Flatwoods; four brothers, Mason Harris of Bumpass, Va., Marvin (Judy) Harris of Russell, Joe (Louise) Harris of Chesterfield, Va., and Aaron (Gale) Harris of Greenup; a nephew, Christopher John Hayes; and several other nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd with Dr. Tommy Melvin officiating.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland.
