Eileen Wells Oney Martin

Eileen Wells Oney Martin, 90, of Raceland, went to be with the Lord on Sat., Oct. 6, 2018 at Hospice in Ashland.
Mrs. Oney-Martin was born April 15, 1928 in Odds, Ky., a daughter of the late Ali and Sadie Collins Wells. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Ishmael Oney; second husband, Ocel Martin; five sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Oney-Martin attended the First Baptist Church in Raceland, Ky., where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Homemakers, D of A, and a Homeroom Mother.
Mrs. Martin is survived by three daughters, Marlene (Tom) Castle of Lawrenceburg, Ky., Debbie Cyrus of Lexington, and Teresa (Lenny) Allen of Jacksonville, F la.; one son, Todd (Susan) Oney of Brentwood, Tenn.; two sisters, Lorraine Mollette, Cindy Morris; one brother, Ali Wells JR; four grandchildren, Missie (John) John Stithe, Robyn (Chris) Hold, Samuel Oney, Maya Oney; two great-grandchildren, Kyle Hold, Lyla Hold; one great-great grandchild, Hayden Allen; one special niece Pam Oney Dillow as well as several other nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Funeral services for Mrs. Oney-Martin will be Thur., Oct. 11, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Raceland, Ky. at 11 a.m. with Rev Tom Stephens officiating. Burial will be at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Ky.
Visitation services will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wed. Oct. 10, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Raceland.
