Eugene White, 74, of Greenup, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.
He was born May 13, 1943, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late Bernard and Verna Ingles White.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one special great-grandson, T.J. Caudill; two brothers, Raymond White and Bill White; and three sisters, Dorothy Cochran, Carol Sue Conn and Faye Asbury.
He was a member of Hampshire Enterprise Baptist Church, Army Vietnam War Veteran, retired bus driver from Greenup County School System with 27 years of service and a farmer.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cassie White; three daughters, Augusta (Phillip) Dalton, Peggy (Harold) Adams, both of South Shore and Cassandra (Jason) Flocker of Worthington; one son, Eugene (Allie) White of Ashland; one brother, Don Asbury of Texas; two sisters, Dora Webb of Columbus, Ohio and Mary Martha Hall of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Levi White, Alexis Dalton, Amber Braden, Margarita White, Rebecca Adams, Megan Flocker and Adriana Flocker; four great-grandchildren, Noah Hunt, Gabriel Hunt, Trent Lee and Scarlett Braden; a special friend, Heather Pennington of Greenup; and many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Elder Ezra Burton officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County with graveside military rites by Portsmouth James Dickey American Legion Post 23.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, and after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home..
