Frederick Clarence Reeves, 82, of Otway, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at his son's residence in Raceland.
Mr. Reeves was born March 2, 1935, a son of the late Benjamin "Frank" and Grace Ferguson Reeves.
He was a Master Mason and Eastern Star at West Union Lodge 43 and a Shriner. He owned R&R Truck Repair on the corner of Rt. 2 and 23.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue Thompson Reeves; three brothers, Frank, John and George Reeves; one sister, Rosemary Jordan; one grandson, Corey McPeek; and one great-grandchild, Kamria Ashcraft.
He is survived by one son, Denver and Gail Reeves of Raceland; two daughters, Connie Maynard of Grayson and Sandy Gail Christian of Catlettsburg; one sister, Betty Braindard of Liberty Mills, Ind.; six grandchildren, Frederick James Reeves, Angela (Chris) Jones, Shanna (Stephen) Keller, Michael (Linda) McPeek, Jeremy McPeek and April (Dewane) Ashcraft; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at Moon Cemetery in Otway, Ohio with Brother Danny Powell officiating.
Reed Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of arrangements.
