Garnettia Gullett Lemaster, 92, of Ashland, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, with her family at her side.
Mrs. Lemaster was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Ashland, to the late Clark Gullett and Eula Williams Centers.
Garnettia was also preceded in death by her adoring husband of 62 years, Stormie Lemaster, in 2005; two grandchildren, Randy White and David Lemaster; and five siblings.
Garnettia was a past employee of Millers Meat Market, Ashland School System and Stormies Pet Shop. She sang with the Gullett Family and The Lemasters. She loved working in her flowers, enjoyed crocheting, quilting and was a great cook. Garnettia adored her family and lived a Christian life, she used her singing talent to spread the Gospel.
She is survived by her children, Roger Lemaster and wife Sharon of Huntington, W.Va., Paulette Riddle of Ashland, Larry Lemaster and wife Starla of Hurricane, W.Va., Connie White and husband Eddie of Ashland, Danny Lemaster of Flatwoods and Michael Lemaster and wife Lauren of Lexington; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Bonnie Spradlin.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, Neal Funeral Home, 2409 Center Street in Catlettsburg with Pastor Ed Caudill officiating. Final resting place will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
