Garry Lee Stevens, 69, of Flatwoods, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, in Community Hospice Care center in Ashland.
He was born Sept. 20, 1947, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late Ernest Stevens and Hazel Bradley Stevens. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa LaDawn Stevens; five brothers and three sisters.
Garry was retired from the City of Russell and a U.S. Army veteran. He very much enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Leona Stevens; one daughter, Rata (Charles) Stevens Robinette, two sisters, Kay Stevens and Sue (Michael) Mowery, two brothers, Neil Stevens and Wayne (Mary) Stevens; three grandchildren, Alana Penrose, Natasha Robinette and Sa-Rai Robinette; and one great-grandchild, Declan Xander Lee Robinette; and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Lloyd Baldridge officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
