Geneva Mae Litteral, 82, of Ashland, peacefully passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 21, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
Geneva was born Feb. 9, 1935, in Summit, a daughter of the late Fred E. and Minnie A. Salyers Akers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Joe Litteral; a son, Robert Litteral and her brother Eldid Akers.
Geneva attended Wildwood Church of God and was a loving homemaker to her family. Her laughter, love and delicious cooking will be missed.
She is survived by her children, Michael Litteral of Ashland and Diana Litteral (Billy Jay) Kinner of Flatwoods; a brother, Fred Akers of Ashland; a sister, Nina Pauline Stewart of Ashland; seven grandchildren, Andrea (Paul) Hensley, Candice (Greg) Caplinger, Lisa (Tim) Nicely, Kayla Litteral, Allison Litteral, Bob Joe Litteral, Sheila Litteral; seven great-grandchildren, Logan, Joshlyn, Emily Rose, Annie, Kaylee, Christopher and Caitlyn; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel by Earnest Duty II. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery in Boyd County.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
