Ginger Leigh Hay Smith, 43, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
Ginger was born April 1, 1974, in Ashland, a daughter of Roma Gayle Miller Hay and the late Elmo Clarence Hay.
In addition to her father, Ginger was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Felix and Iris Hay; and her maternal grandparents, Roy and Maxine Miller.
Ginger graduated from East Carter County High School and received a bachelor's degree in Art from Morehead State University. She loved listening to music and working on her art.
In addition to her mother, Ginger is survived by her loving son, Brady "Buck" Smith of Grayson; and several friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Brother Rob Baier officiating. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm Saturday and after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
