Glenn E. Diller, 85, of Greenup, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at his residence.
Glenn was born April 24, 1932, in Greenup, to the late George E. and Mary M. Boyles Diller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Heidi Ernestine Diller; a grandson, Shane Kazee; and a sister, Phyllis Diller.
Glenn was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and a member of Little Sandy Baptist Church. He retired from Armco Steel and enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting and fishing. He was a kind hearted gentleman who loved his church and family.
He is survived by his children, Harold David Diller of Georgia, Glenda and husband Elmer Kazee of Greenup and Debbie and husband Pete Williams of Fort Pierce, Fla.; his siblings, Fred Diller of South Shore, Helen Craft of Greenup and Wanda Heineman of Greenup; and his grandchildren, Adam Kazee and his friend, Jennifer, Crissy and Shawn Elliott, Sarah and Michael Cummings and Tracey Diller; his great-grandchildren, Jessica and Kreigh Holstine, Shay Worthington, Tyler Kazee, Michaela Elliott, Christian Kazee, Mason Kazee, Anna K azee, Leslie Lambert, Rodney Lanbert Jr., Samantha Gable, Dylon Gable, Wesley Smith, Tonaya Gable, Kim Arnell, Jessica Gable, Elliott Sophia Cummings, Hannah and Holley; and his great-great-grandchildren, Brantley Tyler Kazee and Gregory Kazee.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at Music Family Funeral Home by Pastor Wayne Stephenson and Pastor Tim Wright in Greenup.
Burial will be in Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd with military rites by Kenova American Legion Post 93.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Little Sandy Baptist Church in Greenup.
