Glenna Faye Smith, 82, of Flatwoods, passed away Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 8, 1935, in East Lynn, W.Va., to the late Walter and Agnes Parsons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Smith; a son, Steve Smith; a brother, Delanoe Parsons; and a sister, Edna Mae Luther.
Faye was a member of Moore Street Tabernacle Church in Ashland. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, bird watching and painting bird houses her husband made, reading and fishing, but most of all she loved being with her family.
She is survived by her son, Bryan "Scotty" (Zenaida) Smith; two grandsons, Josh (Amanda) Smith and Johnny Smith; two great-grandsons, Coben Smith and Caleb Slusher; three sisters, Eloise Luther, Judy Morrison and Joann Lucas; two brothers, Wayne Parsons and Glen Parsons; and a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Smith.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Moore Street Tabernacle Church.
