Herman Lee Morman, 77, of South Shore, passed away Wednesday,Feb. 7, 2018, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Argillite, a son of the late John and Goldie Geyer Morman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Louise Craycraft Morman on Aug. 29, 2017; one daughter, Beth Ann Morman; two brothers, John Morman Jr. and Harold Morman and two sisters, Grace Morman and Joyce Morman.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired Carman from C&O Railroad and enjoyed farming.
He is survived by three brothers, Paul (Donna) Morman of Argillite, Charles (Elizabeth) Morman of Ashland and Carl (Verna) Morman of Ironton, Ohio; four sisters, Mary Morman, Ethel Morman, Betty (K.O.) Headley, all of Argillite and Hazel Vanhoose of North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Treda Morman of Argillite; and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at noon Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Pastor Gary Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery in South Shore.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
