Ida Marie Mitchell, 86, of Flatwoods, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 16, 2017, at her residence.
She was born March 11, 1931, in Ashland, the daughter of the late William Morris and Doshie Lee Wright Daniels.
She was a former assistant secretary at Summit Junior High School, of the Baptist faith and attended Trinity Station church services.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husbands, Life Enoch Estep and Robert Mitchell; two sisters, Billie Jo Broughton and Helen Cornett; and a brother, Albert Melvin Daniels.
Survivors include one daughter, Jean (Sam) Bowman of Ironton; three sons, Reverend Dr. David (Sandra) Estep of Marion, IL, Stephen (Lori) Estep of Sapulpa, OK, and Ronald (Latisha) Estep of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Shirley (Don) Morgan of Ashland and Emma Jean Kouns of Georgetown, KY; four brothers, William Henry Daniels of Flatwoods, Reverend James (Donna Faye) Daniels of Wurtland, Donald Ray Daniels of Ohio, and Amos Jasper (Beverly) Daniels of Ashland; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home by Reverend Dr. David Estep and Reverend James Daniels. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
