Imogene Minnehan, 83, of Flatwoods, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Crystal Care of Coal Grove, Ohio.
She was born Jan. 1, 1934, in Garrett, to the late James and Maggie Tussey Patton. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dessie Fultz; and brothers, Arnold Patton, James "Tooter" Patton, Okie Watkins, Nero Patton and Willie Patton.
Imogene attended Wesleyan Assembly of God in Westwood. She was a talented quilt maker all of which she made by hand. She enjoyed working with her flowers, canning items she grew in her garden and playing Canasta with friends.
Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Jim Minnehan of Flatwoods; daughters Cheri Minnehan Adams (J.R. Hammons) of Atlanta, Ga., and Pamela Minnehan Williams (Scott R. Williams) of Burlington; brothers Gary Patton of Coal Grove, and John Patton of Flatwoods; a sister, Jodi Selvage of Flatwoods; grandchildren Lisa Joe Delaney (Christopher Collins) of Atlanta and Jennifer Rene Williams of California; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Declan Collins of Atlanta; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Imogene's life will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland with words of comfort by Chaplain Jimm Smedley. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Russell.
