"Ditty Bill" Kazee, 85, of Grayson, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born Nov. 2, 1932, to the late James and Myrtle Kazee Fauson and the late Arnold Fauson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Janet Faye Thornbury Kazee; two sisters, Frances Baxter and Mary Jo Sergent; and a brother, Gene Fosson.
Harold, better known as "Ditty Bill" to all that knew him, was a truck driver for over 60 years. He began driving at the age of 16 and retired in 2011 at the age of 79. He was a longtime member of Willard Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Cline of Medway, Ohio; a son, James Michael Kazee of Grayson; a brother, Ray (Jewell) Fosson of Grayson; two sisters, Helen (Earl) Allquist of Idaho and Marilyn (Ed) Caudill of Grayson; a niece, Dana (Jerry) McKinney of Grayson; a great-niece, Melanie McKinney of Grayson; two grandchildren, Chad Cline and Justin Kazee; three stepgrandchildren, Jeremy (Shana) Johnson, Jill (Brandon) Bays and Brittany Johnson; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Addison Warren, Elijah Johnson and Emily Johnson; a great-granddaughter, Payton Cline; and two great-great-granddaughters, Addilynn and Bryleigh McCoy.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at Sparks Funeral Home with David Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
