James Henry Lewis, 73, of Sandy Hook, KY, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, in St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
James Henry was born April 8, 1944, at Wells Creek in Elliott County to the late Leonard and Della Lewis. He is also preceded in death by 11 brothers.
He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a construction worker for 3D-Drilling.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Johnson Lewis; three sons and their wives, Woody and Trish Lewis of Morehead, KY, Jeff and Angie Lewis of Sandy Hook, and Jonathan and Melissa Lewis of Wrigley, KY. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Elijah Lewis, Emma Lewis, Jared Lewis, Ethan Lewis, Molly Lewis and Lydia Lewis; as well as many extended family and friends.
Funeral will be conducted Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook with Brother Rick Pelfrey and Brother Reggie Dickerson. Burial will be at Elliott County Memory Gardens.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
