Kenneth "Kenny" Edward Floyd, 74, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord Sunday, September 3, 2017, in the King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Kenny was born April 22, 1943, in Ohio, a son of the late Lonnie Floyd and Martha Wallace. Including his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Roscoe Floyd, Tommy Floyd and Lonnie Floyd Jr.; and two sisters, Donna Sue Floyd and Inez Wilburn.
Kenny worked as a master plumber. Kenny was a Christian who evangelized too many people, his favorite saying was, "There are two times to praise the Lord, when you feel like it and when you don't."
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Bernice Lea Craft Floyd; a son, Kenny (Barbie) Floyd; two daughters, Lynette (Stephen) Rogers and Crystal (Eddie Jr.) Seagraves; 11 grandchildren, Courtney (Clay) Rogers Harlow, Amber Floyd, Justin (Kayla) Rogers, Summer (Tommy) Korsgen, Eddie (Chelsea) Seagraves III, Kayla (Chad) Cassell, Austin Floyd, Charlie Rogers, Nathan Rogers, Ashley Roger and Brooke Seagraves; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Floyd Sexton all of Grayson; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Brother David Wade, Brother Delmar Rogers and Brother Leonard Gollihue officiating. Burial will follow in the Rogers-Messer Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday until the service hour.
