Kenneth Wayne Stevens, 77, of South Shore, passed away June 16, 2017, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
He was born May 23, 1940, in Greenup County, a son of the late Morton and Thelma Watkins Fetters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Hale.
Ken was a 1960 graduate from Mckell High School and graduated from ACTC in Ashland. He was a Carpenter Superintendent out of Local 302 in Huntington, W.Va. He loved to hunt and garden.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Tolliver Stevens of South Shore; one son, L.D. (Donna) Stevens of South Shore; one daughter, Susy (Dennis Callihan) Bailey of Wurtland; one brother, Alex Stevens of Wurtland; one sister, Dallas Helen Riggs of South Shore; a special son-in-law, Jack (Melissa) Hixson; three grandchildren, Jessica (Jessica Crum) Hixson, Cole Tolliver Stevens and Braxton Stevens; and his beagle Missy, who he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Brother Gary Howell officiating. Burial will be Stevens Family Cemetery in South Shore.
