Kimberly Ann Gillum, 52, of Ashland, went to be with her Lord Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center, following a long illness.
She was born Jan. 28, 1965, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Marvin and Betty Wilburn Lucas.
She was a homemaker and helped babysit three children, whom she thought of as her own, Travis Bentley, Brad Bentley and Seth Patton.
She is survived by her husband, Donald "Ick" Gillum; one sister, Tonia Lucas of Westwood; one brother, Rick (Sue) Lucas of Ashland; two nephews, Rocky Lucas and Robby Renfroe; one niece, Haleigh Renfroe; and four special friends, Nikki Griffith, Barb Blanton, Deb Bentley and Lynn Porter.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2017, at Malone Funeral Home with Randy Biggs officiating. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
