Lavina Bell Crisp Tufts McCoy, 73, of Kenova, W.Va., passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017, in Kingsbrook Life Care Center.
Mrs. McCoy was born September 7, 1943, in Boyd County, to the late Elbert Bell and Liddie Mullins Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray McCoy in 2015; a daughter lost at birth, Angel Tufts; brothers, Ernest Bell, Homer Bell, Bill Bell and Arvel Bell.
Lavina was a homemaker who enjoyed watching T.V. and playing computer games. She attended First Church of the Nazarene.
Lavina is survived by her son, Daniel Eugene Crisp and his wife, Dolly, of Kenova; grandson J.R. Crisp; brothers, Leon (Sandy) Bell of Boyd County, and Bob (Yvonne) Bell of Ashland; and one sister, Joyce Blanton of Catlettsburg.
Funeral services for Mrs. McCoy will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Neal Funeral Home, 2409 Center Street, Catlettsburg. Pastor Frank Hulett will officiate. Final resting place in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Kenova.
Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
