He and Lorraine loved to spend winters in Ft. Myers for over 30 years where he was active at First Nazarene Church of Fort Myers.
In 1990, Lonnie retired to a life of service. He used his legendary ability to build and fix anything to help anyone in need. He served across the country and around the world including more than 20 Work and Witness trips through Nazarene Global Missions serving in places like Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Argentina, Russia, Kenya, Mexico, Alaska, Italy and more.
