Loraine Darby, 75, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., formerly of Flatwoods, went home to be with her Lord Friday, Jan. 26, 2018.
Mrs. Darby was born April 4, 1942, in Ashland, to the late Robert Edward Clark and Viola Short.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Lee Darby.
She was a member of Plaza Community Church of the Nazarene, where she was a former Missionary President, delegate to the general assembly, Sunday School teacher and youth leader. She loved her Church and family dearly.
She is survived by one daughter, Marcia Ann (Dave) Wilks; a son, Randal (Lisa) Darby; five grandchildren, Chase (Nikki) Wilks, Mason (Kristen) Darby, Hannah (Chris) Martin, Sidney Darby and Andrew Wilks; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan, 29, 2018, at Plaza Community Church of the Nazarene in Russell with Rev. Warren Toler and Rev. Robert Hale officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
