Mary Tom Crum, 93, of Grayson, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at her residence.
She was born April 15, 1923, in Grayson, a daughter of the late Roy Haven and Pearl Everman Harris.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mat Crum; a daughter, Wanda June Crum; four brothers, David, Russell, Clarence and Jack Harris; and a sister, Fern Harris.
Affectionately known as "Granny Tom" by family and friends. She was a housewife, mother and helped manage the family farm and in later years she became a nursing assistant. She was a member of the Lower Grassy Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie (Epp David) Kiser of Grayson; two sons, Donnie (Helen) Crum of Grayson and James (Darry) Crum of Huntington, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Lauren (Becky) Crum, Jenny (Claude) Duncan, Shelley (Casey) Brammell, Darren (Sibel )Crum, Erika (Eddie) Morrison, Denise (Kevin) Ramey, Mark (Melissa) Kiser, Leigh Anna (Anthony) Carper and Neal (Bonnie) Kiser; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at the Lower Grassy Church of Christ with Roger McGlone elder of the church. Burial will be in Everman Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson and after noon Thursday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Lauren Crum, Neal Kiser, Mark Kiser, Casey Brammell, Kevin Ramey and Anthony Carper.
