Nathan's Story

Nathan Murphy, 75, passed away on February 7, 2018, at his home in Bahama, NC.
He was born in Ashland, KY, to the late Nathan Dewey Murphy and Rebecca Hall.
Mr. Murphy was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired as an engineer from General Telephone Company.
Mr. Murphy is survived by his wife of 34 years, Silvana Murphy; daughters, Kaeli Murphy, Leah Murphy, Charlotte Holzbach (Godfrey); son Nate Murphy (Angela); sisters, Ellen Fraley, Ina Rae Riggs (John); and brother, Joseph Murphy. He was very proud of his 10 grandchildren, Brittany, Lydia, Emma, Sheridan, Brianna, Ashton, Corinne, Liberty, Lily and Tyler.
A celebration of life will be February 15, 2018, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Clements Funeral Home in Durham.
A service will be in Ashland at a later date.

The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral Service, Inc. in Durham.
