Olive Ruth Wheeler Fearing, 91, of Louisville, died peacefully, Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2017, in her sleep at her home.
Olive Ruth was born Dec. 12, 1925, in Huntington, W.Va., to Harrison H. Wheeler and Rilda Wright Wheeler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Fearing.
Olive Ruth grew up in Red Bush and graduated from Sullins Academy in 1942 and Center College in 1946.
She met Tom Fearing in Ashland, they married Dec. 31, 1949 and spent 38 wonderful years together raising their three children, Greg, Dean and Amy.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Frances Elmore of Columbia, Mo.; her children, Greg (Margaret) Fearing of Louisville, Dean Fearing of Dallas, Texas and Amy (Rick) Reisner of Wichita, Kan.; and four very special grandchildren, Lydia Fearing, Megan Tongue, Jaxson Fearing and Campbell Fearing.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Hosparus Health of Louisville for their kindness and support.
A private family service will be Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, in Ashland Cemetery.
