Ott Bradley, 95, of Westwood, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017 in Rivers Bend Health Care in South Point, Ohio, following an extended illness.
Ott was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Morgan County, a son of the late William Thurman and Nettie Patrick Bradley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elma Pelphrey Bradley in 1996; and a brother, Edgar Bradley.
Ott was a barber in the Westwood community for over 50 years. He never trimmed a strangers hair and always had a story to tell. Prior to becoming a barber, Ott worked in the marine division on the boats for Ashland Oil, operated W.T. Bradley and Sons Bus Line out of Morgan County and a service station in West Liberty with his father and brother.
He is survived by a daughter, Quebecca Seiders and husband Ken of Mount Sterling; a son, Dolpha Bradley of Westwood; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Bradley of Louisville, Matthew Bradley of Ashland and Bradley Osburn of Jeffersonville.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at Preston Family Funeral Home. Interment will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast will full military rites.
