Patricia Ann Sturgill Owens Patricia Ann Sturgill Owens, 82, of Russell, Kentucky passed away peacefully Saturday morning October 6, 2018 in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Patricia was born May 25, 1936 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late James D. and Emma Whitley Sturgill. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harry Marvin Owens. Also preceding her in death were her brothers; Bill, Glen, Garland, Joe, and Jim Sturgill and her sisters; Neva Conley and Helen Moore. Patricia was a mother, homemaker, and God loving Christian. She was a member of Martha United Baptist Church in Raceland and was saved and baptized in 1966. Surviving Patricia are her children; Patrick Owens and his wife Toni of Russell, Kentucky and Pamela Orgeron and her husband Milton of Madison, Tennessee, her brothers; Jack Sturgill of Westwood, Kentucky and Jerry Sturgill of Ashland, Kentucky, and her sister; Sandra Evans of Russell, Kentucky. Also surviving her are her grandchildren; Korin Owens and Krista Goett, and her great grandchildren; Haylie and Lowell Fergus and William Frederick. Funeral services for Patricia will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Westwood United Baptist Church with Elders Junior Thompson, A.J. Williams, Clayton Oliver, and Joey Salyers. Visitation will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland and from 10:00 am to service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow services in Ashland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland.
