Richard Phillip Cordle, 66, of Waterloo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Mr. Cordle was born July 19, 1951, in Ironton, Ohio, to the late Richard A. and Iris Anne Bailey Cordle.
Mr. Cordle was a self-employed repairman and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Cordle is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Katherine Faye Cordle of Waterloo, Ohio; one son, Donald Ray (Christy) Massie of Flatwoods; five daughters, Mildred (Charles) Bowen of Pomeroy, Ohio, Crystal (Bruce) Anderson of Willow Wood, Ohio, Tina (Mark) Bowen of Gallapolis, Ohio and Patty (Donny) Ross and Tammy (Junior) Cade, both of Pedro, Ohio; three brothers, David (Julie) Cordle of Greenup, Tony (Beverly) Cordle of Atlanta, Ga., and Glen "Bud" (Irene) Bailey of Beech Island, S.C.; many grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
