Richard Everett Rowe, 72, of Sandy Hook, KY, passed away January 1, 2018, at his home.
He was born December 25, 1946, in Elliott County, the son of the late Richard and Pearl Ridgeway Rowe. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James "Bud" Rowe and Jack Rowe; and a sister, Donna Trent.
He was retired from the State of Kentucky and the Little Sandy Correctional Facility. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a Vietnam veteran.
Richard is survived by his children, Richard Rowe II of Spring, TX; Phillip Nathan Rowe of Sandy Hook, Victoria Lynn Rowe of Sandy Hook, Banasha E. Miller of Grayson, KY, Emily Stevens of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Cameron Rowe, James Cagle, Dalton Rowe, Nekoma Rowe, Jacquilin Cagle, Madison Miller, Jada Adkins, Braylen Vancleave, Brooklyn Stevens, Lawryn Stevens and Koalbryn Stevens; and a great-grandchild, Aubriana Rowe.
Funeral will be conducted Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook. Burial in Rowe Family Cemetery.
