Robert Lee Langley, 78, of South Shore, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
He was born Feb. 14, 1939, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Henry and Zelda Royster Langley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Langley.
He was a member of Sandhill Church of Christ, a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from A.K. Steel.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Collins Langley; one daughter, Sherri (Carl) Lockhart of Portsmouth, Ohio; one son, David Langley of Paducah; three brothers, Jim Langley of South Shore, Roger Langley of Chesapeake, Ohio and Johnny Langley of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Norma Zuray of Seattle, Wash., Dianne Moneyham of Alabama and Ramona Montgomery of South Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Donald Seevers officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery in South Shore with military rites by James Dickey American Legion Post 23 in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Friends may call from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. Tuesday the funeral home.
