Roger Harry Brown II, 44, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018.
Mr. Brown was born March 11, 1974, in Ashland, Ky., to Roger Harry Sr. and Helen Louise Metz Brown of Flatwoods, Ky.
Mr. Brown was a former Engineer for CSX and a U.S. Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Mega Brown of Russell, Ky.; two sons, Shane Austin Brown of Lexington, Ky. and Nathan Adam Brown of Russell, Ky.; two daughters, Abby and Ava Brown both of Russell, Ky.; one brother, Nathan William Brown of Raceland, Ky.; one uncle, Jack (Nancy) Metz of Flatwoods, Ky.; two aunts, Pat (Larry) Stevens of Russell, Ky. and Debbie (Larel) Pennington of Greenup, Ky.; a special friend Brent Roark; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral Service will be Friday, July 20, 2018, at noon at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Ky., with Rev. Gene Hallahan officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Greenup, Ky.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to time of service on Friday at the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear about Roger. I was his squad leader in Germany for a short time. He was an excellent soldier, very knowledgable, I enjoyed working with him. He will be missed.

I hate to hear this news. "Harry" was always very kind to me in high school and I always enjoyed seeing him out and about as adults. I'm so very sorry for the family's and his children's loss. prayers for you all.
