I'm afraid that I didn't know Ron very well. I recall having met him at a Hunt family reunion fairly early on after he married Betty. I was being bothered by a yellow jacket and had shouted an expletive that Ron wasn't very appreciative of considering that his young son was within earshot. I'm confident that I didn't make a very good impression on our new family member. I don't know if Ron ever remembered having met me but, I definitely remember and thought about him and the circumstances of that initial meeting many times over the years.
Betty, I am so sorry for your loss. The days, weeks, & months ahead will be difficult. Rely on and reach out to family, friends, & Jesus Christ for hel

Ron was a great landlord to Sandy and I when we had our store in Ashland. He did everything he could to assure we were comfortable and our needs were met. Ron was a good, kind and compassionate man. I worked with his wife, Betty, for many years and she was a dear friend. My heart is heavy tonight, knowing her loss. I know Ron’s struggles are over, and he is now with Jesus. Betty, Sandy and I are praying for you. We love you and pray God will give you peace.
