Stephen Ray Roe, 56, of South Shore, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 17, 2017, at his residence, with his family by his side.
He was born Dec. 3, 1960, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Donald and Bertha Stephenson Roe.
He attended the Faith Baptist Church in Wheelersburg, Ohio and retired as a carman from Norfolk and Southern Railroad. He loved the outdoors and Nascar Racing.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Kelley Roe, whom he married August 25, 1982; one daughter, April (Fred) Crabtree of South Shore; many other family and friends behind who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Pastor Bryan White officiating. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m Tuesday, June 20, 2017, and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
