Thelma Kay Lewallen Lambert, 73, of Catlettsburg, went to be with her Lord on Wed., Oct. 3, 2018 at Community Hospice Care Center.
Ms. Lambert was born May 15, 1945 in Boone County, W Va., to the late Lewis and Ruth Sexton Lewallen. Thelma attended Thomas R. Brown High School and retired as Assistant Manager for Fairfield Inn. Thelma was full of life, she loved games and enjoyed sitting on the porch, visiting with family and friends, cooking, and crocheting. She was a member of House of Grace Church.
Thelma is survived by her children, Michael, his wife Melissa, of Catlettsburg, Roger, his wife Paula, of Fallsburg, Ky., and Dennis, his wife Amanda, of Catlettsburg; brothers, Stephen Lewallen of Catlettsburg and Earl Lewallen of Melbourne, Fla.; a sister, Shirley (Herb) O'Neal of Ashland; and a sister-in-law Alice Lewallen of Ashland. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Taylor Bentley (Ridge) of Wheelersburg, Ohio, Craig Lambert of Fallsburg, Noah Lambert, Mason Lambert, Christopher Lambert, and Meila Lambert, all of Morehead, Ky., great-grandchildren Tycen and Addy Bentley; and many nieces and nephews who love her dearly.
Preceding in death are her parents, brother Lewis Lewallen II; sister, Jean Rose; and sisters-in-law, Pat Lewallen and Grace Lewallen.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Ms. Lambert's life will be at 3 p.m. Sat., Oct. 6, 2018, at House of Grace, 2413 Greenup Ave., Ashland, Ky. 41101. Pastor Chris Feller will officiate. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until Service time Sat. at the Church.
