Thomas "Jeff" Jeffery Barber, 50, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2018, at his home.
He was born January 21, 1967, a son of Frances Bandy Barber and the late Paul Barber Sr.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul V. Barber III.
Mr. Barber proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm. He was a part of the Echo 153rd regiment out of Fort Stewart, Georgia. Mr. Barber worked as assistant manager for Bob Evans in Jackson, OH.
He is also survived by his sister, Cheryle (Edward) Melvin; two brothers, Paul V. Barber Jr. and David (Karen) Barber.
A visitation for family and friends will be Friday, January 5, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Evans Funeral in Raceland.
The funeral service will be Friday, January 5, 2018, at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Jimmy Smedley officiating. Burial will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County with military rights conducted by Kenova American Legion Post 93.
