Thomas D. "Tommy" Wilson, 59, of Coal Grove, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Tom was born Feb. 2, 1958 in Wurtland, a son of the late Cecil "Woody" and Hazel Bailey Wilson.
He was a Machinist for 30 years at Jennmar-McSweeney, a drummer for 32 years for local bands and a member of New Life Church in Huntington, W.Va., where he worked in the Audio Department.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Aldridge Wilson; a stepson, Cameron Roach of Coal Grove, Ohio; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Phillip Barker of Wurtland; a brother, Tim Wilson of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home in South Point, Ohio with Pastor Ronald Joplin officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Ironton, Ohio.
