William "Bill" Clyde Bradley, 85, of Leatherwood Road in Greenup, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 9, 2017, in the Sanctuary at Ohio Valley.
Bill was born Nov. 4, 1931, in Raceland, a son of the late William C. and Chrystal Parsons Bradley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Lois Seth, Bonnie Heuser, Phyllis Lightfoot and Donna Bradley; a granddaughter, Rebecca Bradley
He was a retired carman from CSX Railroad in Raceland with 45 years of service. He also was a cattle farmer in which he loved working with the cattle and doing farm work on his farm. He was an avid sportsman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Helen Louise Smith Bradley; four sons, William "Bill" (Gloria) Bradley of Mt. Sterling, Bob (Debbie) Bradley of Ironton, Ohio, Kenny (Sharon) Bradley of Vanceburg, and Jim (Sandy) Bradley of South Portsmouth; a daughter, Annette (Mike) Sparks of Garrison; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Bob Bradley. Burial will be in Brick Union in Lloyd.
Visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after noon Thursday at the funeral home.
