Wilma S. Beverly, 77, of Ashland, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at her home, after a short illness.
She was born Nov. 30, 1939, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Frank H. and Edna Malarkey Fugeman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Fugeman; five sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Hall, Emily "Jo" Rearrick, Mary Jane Fugeman, Barbara Geisler and Inez Brooks; one half-sister, Juanita Stapleton; and one nephew, William Geisler.
Wilma was a former proofreader for Ernst & Ernst CPA in Chicago, Ill. She was of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by Burnett C. Beverly of Ashland; one brother, Andrew M. Fugeman of Ashland; one half-sister, Paula Moore of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Known as Bea or Aunt Bea, she was a supporter of animal groups and the Salvation Army.
She was very loving and kind and will be missed by family and friends.
A private funeral services will be at Miller Funeral Home with Rev. John Street officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum. There will be no visitation.
