Wilma Lee Patrick Tussey, 73, of Denton, went to be with her Lord Monday, June 26, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Wilma was born April 19, 1944, in Sandy Hook, a daughter of the late Leland Wallace and Marie Adkins Patrick.
Wilma attended the Johns Run Tabernacle. Wilma retired from Carter County 911 Dispatch after 25 years of service. Wilma loved her grandchildren and great-grandchild with all her heart, she enjoyed reading, shopping, auctions and traveling to Amish country.
Wilma is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Eugene Tussey; a son, Michael (Darlena) Tussey of Denton; three grandchildren, Paige (Larry) Doucet of Lexington, Karlie Tussey and Hannah Tussey both of Denton; a great-grandchild, Larry Bruce "Tripp" Doucet III; a sister, Vilma Kay (Vencil) Branham of Isonville; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Branham, Phillip Branham, Ryan Tussey, Kegan Tussey, Larry Doucet and Kenny Sturgill.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2017, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Delmar Rogers and Ed McKinney officiating. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
