Yvonne Louise "Cookie" Diamond, 68, of South Shore, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 30, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio. February 22, 1949, a daughter of the late George and Betty Lyons Crum.
She was retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center as a nurse and a member of the Eastern Star Radiance Chapter in South Shore.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Albert Diamond; two sons, Richard Michael Diamond and his wife, Stacy, and Jeffery Scott Diamond both of South Shore; a brother, George Crum Jr. of Ironton, Ohio; a sister, Tina Parker and her husband, Kenny, of Westwood; 10 grandchildren, Morgan Woods, Blake Diamond, Shanna Diamond, Jeremiah Diamond, Matthew Diamond, Emily Diamond, Gracie Terry, Hallie Scott, Sara Rawlins and Sami Rawlins; three great-grandchildren, Jayce Bryant, Liam Diamond and Abrille Skye Woods; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at noon, Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup by Brother Butch Crum. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County.
