Catherine "Kitty" Singleton, of Lexington, formerly of Rush, died Dec. 28, 2016, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 26, 1932, in Grayson, a daughter of the late Harvey Sr., and Margaret Salyers Berry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Wetzel LeMaster and Edgar Singleton; two sisters, Marie Griffith and Imogene Bill; two brothers, George Lewis Berry and Terry Berry; and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Ferguson.
She was a loving mother, hardworking and always putting family first. She was of Christian faith and always worked in the restaurant industry providing for her family.
She is survived by two sons, Tim Ferguson and Anthony (Vanessa) Berry, both of Lexington; four sisters, Lizzie Fryer of Grayson, Irene Nolan of Grove City, Ohio, Sue Brewster of Grove City and Debbie Eliis of Boyd County; three brothers, Harvey Berry Jr., of Grayson, Charles Berry of Hillsboro and Sherman Berry of Grayson; six grandsons, Glen (Lisa), Robert, Billy and Coty (Stephanie); five great-grandchildren, Jared, Dalton, Kadin, Nicholas and Caleb; and one great-great-granddaughter, Jazlynn.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson with Minister Paul Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Cribbs Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at the funeral home.
